Review of STOLEN by Vivian Zabel

Vivian Gilbert Zabel
The tragedy of child abduction is the subject of Vivian Gilbert Zabel’s fiction novel STOLEN. But Vivian knows the personal heartache of her grandchildren’s abduction by their father. Only through her persistent efforts were her grandchildren discovered and returned from England where there father had hidden them. Vivian never gave up hope. She not only blogged, but she encouraged friends to help her. One day, her grandson Googled his name and discovered the blog references, each of which included Vivian’s contact information. He emailed her and her personal tragedy had a happy ending. Of sorts, at least. How does one recover the lost years? How does one undo the damage done by a vengeful parent?

Available Now From 4RV Publishing
In STOLEN, Tori Adamson learns of her cheating husband’s duplicitous life and takes her children from Dallas, Texas to Oklahoma to stay with her grandparents in their bed and breakfast, The Lighthouse. Through tragedy and happiness, she is surrounded with love and hope for a secure and happy future with a loving man, Jason. Until the terrible day when her children disappear. Who took them? Imagine the terror in a mother’s heart when she learns her children are missing. The diminishing hope as each day passes. As a mother, I can think of nothing worse! To learn about the search and whether or not there is a happy ending, read STOLEN, available now through the 4RV Publishing bookstore: http://4rvpublishingllc.com/Novels.html In two weeks, STOLEN will also be available on Amazon.

NOTE: Anyone not hosting a blog stop but who promotes the novel will have a chance to win an ARC. (ARC means Advance Reader Copy). Let Vivian know you've promoted at the email address below. Winners of hard copy ARCs must have a U.S. address. Two of the people who send Vivian by email a possible ending to the novel will win an ARC. Anyone outside the U.S. who wins will receive a PDF ARC. Caroline, thanks for hosting me today and for the review of Stolen.

I'm not sure, but I may not have been clear, and I'm sorry. My grandchildren weren't in England, but were in a Middle Eastern country. After the kids had been gone 12 years, a friend in the U.K. asked if he could copy my yearly blogged letter to them and have some of his friends around the world do the same thing.

Thanks, Marv.

I need to promote this stop and then get to church. I'll be back for about two hours and then to a meeting. I catch up on posts after the meeting.

Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday.

What a wonderful review.

Vivian, I just can't imagine how horrible it must have been. For all the internet's problems, it is amazing how it can reach the entire world and help in these types of situations.

Miracles do happen.

Vivian, sorry for the error. That makes your true story even more remarkable, doesn't it?

Vivian Zabel said...

Caroline, don't worry about an error or two or even three. *laugh* I make them all the time.

I'm so glad to see people stopping and leaving comments. I'll reply to each one after I return from the OWFI board meeting this afternoon.

Yes, Nita, see you in a little bit.

Back from the board meeting.

Donna, your order arrived and will be shipped out Monday or Tuesday. What do you want written for the autograph?

Nice review. Can't wait to read Stolen. I plan to promote it on my blog later this week, because I want to give others a chance to read about this amazing family.

Vivian Zabel said...

Thanks, Beverly.

You know, Torri, Jason, Gram, and Gramps and the others in the book became "real." Even if some of the book was based on real life, it was fiction. But sometimes our characters don't realize they are fictitious.

I'll check back tomorrow to see if anyone else visited.

Thank you, Caroline, for hosting Stolen today.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.
